Insurance and Payment
Know what this costs you before you commit to any of it. Start with a free phone consultation and a free benefits check, then decide with the numbers in front of you.
The straight answer on cost.
We do not publish a list of plans, because a list would not answer the question you actually have.
The question is not who we bill. It is what this costs you.
Two people holding cards from the same company get two different answers, because deductibles, out-of-network allowances, and visit limits are set on your plan, not on ours.
So we check yours. The benefits check on this page is free, it takes a few details, and nothing about it commits you to booking.
Some patients here pay out of pocket. They say so in their reviews.
We are not going to dress that up. Some patients are reimbursed in full. Some are reimbursed in part. Some decide to pay for the care themselves.
You deserve to know that before you sit down, not after.
Jonathan P. wrote about exactly this: “I was especially happy that Trupti answered all my questions and provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision about my next steps, with no feeling of pressure or vague promises. … Unfortunately due to a mistake on my end, I didn’t realise that my insurance did not cover my treatment, and I sadly made the decision not to continue. … However, if my circumstances changed I would book again with Trupti in a heartbeat.”
Others decided the other way, knowing the same thing. Stephanie G. had spent her Thanksgiving in bed with two bulging discs and three epidural injections behind her: “My insurance does cover the costs of visits, although I have a small co-pay, but even if I had to pay out of pocket for Trupti, I absolutely would pay for as many sessions as I could possibly afford with her. She is worth every penny, but more importantly, your health is worth every penny!”
Neither of them was told a comfortable story first. That is the register of this page. Honest about the money, unembarrassed about the value.
What the money actually buys.
You are not paying for a spot in a room where one therapist floats between four tables.
- The whole visit with the clinician. One-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit. Never an aide, never two patients at once.
- A cause, not a category. Nobody here treats “knee pain” as a category with a matching exercise sheet. See manual therapy for how the hands-on work fits in.
- A plan with an endpoint. Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent, with reassessment along the way and a point at which you are told you are done.
- An honest no. If it is not a physical therapy problem, you are told and referred out rather than booked in.
Compare that against the other ledger: years of visits somewhere that never found the cause, imaging, injections, time you took off, the surgery you have been asked to consider.
You pay for everybody else's things.
The team fees, the tuition, the roof, the appointment your mother needed a ride to. Spending on your own back feels like the self-indulgent line item.
It is the cheapest thing on that list, and it is the only one that stops working if you keep deferring it.
Our reviewers are blunt about the arithmetic. The regret in them is never the money spent. It is the years spent waiting.
Two free steps before you spend a dollar.
- A free 15-minute telephone consultation with Trupti Mehta, PT, MS, OCS.
- A free 30-minute Discovery Session in the clinic, in person and hands on.
Neither costs anything. Neither obliges you to continue. And no referral is needed to start: DC direct access lets you come straight to us.
Use the free benefits check below and we will tell you what your plan does. If you would rather just talk it through, request an appointment. More cost and timeline questions are answered in the FAQ, and your first visit covers what happens once you are in the room.
