Sports rehab in Washington, DC.

Back on the field, not just off the table. Rehab that finishes at your sport instead of finishing the day the pain goes quiet.

What It Is

Pain-free at rest proves nothing.

Most rehab stops when it stops hurting. That’s the middle of the job, not the end of it. A quad that can’t absorb a landing yet will find you again at mile eight or minute seventy, and how the leg feels on the couch tells you nothing about that.

So sports rehab here runs all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent, and the last two look like training. Trupti is a runner herself, and she has worked with golfers, tennis players, collegiate lacrosse players, triathletes, swimmers, cyclists and soccer players. One-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit, means the person watching your mechanics is the person who treated you.

Allison B. was weeks out from her first full marathon when her hip stopped cooperating: “Within 3-4 sessions of hands-on massage, dry needling, taping, and the right kind of exercises, I was able to run again and I completed my first full marathon!” Blair B. spent four to five months hoping a soccer injury would sort itself out, and it didn’t: “it’s best to take care of the problem sooner rather than wait because things will only get worse in the long run.”

What It Helps

Where the season is on the line.

You’ve played through worse, which is exactly why this one is still here. Being good at getting through things isn’t the same as getting it fixed. The goal isn’t tolerating your sport, it’s trusting it again.

What A Session Looks Like

Three steps, one visit.

1

We test the movement your sport demands.

2

Hands-on work first, then real load.

3

You leave with this week’s dose, not a printout.

Why It Works

Four reasons athletes finish here.

Rehab that ends at your sport.

Strength tested, never assumed.

Your mechanics watched by your therapist.

A Prevent phase, so there’s no next one.

Questions, Answered

Sports rehab, no mystery.

Resting until it feels fine and then returning at your old volume is how most of these turn chronic. Loading it on purpose is safer: the right direction, at a dose we set together and adjust every week as your tissue earns more. You keep as much of your sport as it can genuinely handle, which is usually more than you expect, and we tell you which parts to park and for how long.

By what you can do, not by the calendar. We measure strength, single-leg control and the specific demand your sport makes, injured side against the other one, and you see those numbers as they move. Prevent is a real phase with real criteria, so being finished here means you passed something, not that your visits ran out.

You get an estimate at the end of your evaluation, with the four phases mapped out, Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent, and a reassessment at each one. It is a plan with an endpoint, and if a race or a season is in the way we build around the date. Plenty of our reviews open with the same regret, waiting months for it to settle on its own and coming back to more injuries instead of fewer. Your first 30-minute Discovery Session is free, and no referral is needed to start.
